1. Healthy food is expensive = False
Often healthier, homemade meals are cheaper than pre-packaged ready meals. Why not make batches of chilli, stew or curry and freeze any leftovers. Buying local and in season produce from local markets can often help keep prices down.
2. Skipping meals is a good way to lose weight = False
Skipping meals is not a good way of losing weight. Instead, eating three small meals a day and swapping your normal snacks for more healthy ones will help you control calorie intake.
3. Margarine contains less fat than butter = False
Butter and margarine contain different types of fat, but both contain a relatively similar amount.
4. Dried fruit is not as healthy as fresh fruit = False
As part of a healthy balanced diet, dried fruit can count towards one of your 5 portions of fruit and veg a day.
